Silicone and fluorosilicone rubber can be extruded in both solid and sponge on multiple extrusion lines.
Reiss Manufacturing has the capabilities to provide standard or custom profiles, tubing, gaskets, seals, cord, strips, insulation wrap and other various types of custom extrusions.
Silicone and fluorosilicone can be molded in both solid and sponge, while fluorocarbons like Viton® and EPDM are molded in solid.
Rubber molding process capabilities include:
- Compression (multiple cavity or single to meet your production quantity needs)
- and more
Reiss Manufacturing has the capabilities to produce both solid or sponge silicone sheet in a variety of colors, thicknesses and durometer. Our calendering operation offers continuous rolled sheet in silicone, fluorosilicone, Viton®, EPDM and EPR rubber. Calendering processes include:
Reiss Manufacturing’s Silicone Rubber Division is skilled in fabricating gaskets, seals and other custom parts from a variety of heat cured rubber compounds in finished form.
In-house tool design and manufacturing utilizing CAD/CAM allows us to offer low-cost tooling with short lead times. While we have the full scope of engineering capabilities to produce all types of molds, dies and tools, we do have strategic relationships with outside mold makers for specialty tools.
Reiss Manufacturing can provide specialized colors when required. We typically require a PMS number or a color sample to be provided by the customer so we can more easily match the specified color.
At Reiss Manufacturing, we have the capability to do standard ASTM testing in-house. We also work closely with our customers to have additional testing done at an A2LA Accredited lab facility when required.
Reiss silicone rubber can help you solve many problems you encounter. Our chemists and engineers will work with you to design the product and select the right silicone for your application.
