Reiss Manufacturing has extensive calendering capabilities producing solid silicone sheets in a variety of colors, thicknesses and durometers.
The calendering process allows for sheets to be produced in continuous lengths or cut to size as requested. These rolls can be provided in a cured or uncured state and manufactured onto various fabrics.
Our multiple machines allow us to produce a variety of widths up to 42” usable. When needed, secondary processing provided by our Fabrication department can include cut to length, die-cutting, pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) application, and more.
Our calendering capabilities include:
- Continuous rolled sheet in silicone, fluorosilicone, Viton®, and EPDM
- Calendered rolls with precision thicknesses of .005″ to .250″; calendered up to .250″ thick
- Widths up to 42″ in various rolled lengths
- Solid, continuous rolls with a durometer range from 10 to 90 Shore A
- Calendered materials laminated with dissimilar materials such as Teflon®, fiberglass and others
- Silicone gaskets, rings, seals, and custom shapes fabricated from continuous sheets
- Die-cut or water-jet cut for precision tolerances
- Translucent, transparent, standard colors, color matches
- Pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) applied
- High and low temperature formulated sheet
- Electrically conductive grade sheeting filled with carbon black – EMI/RFI Shielding
- Food grade (FDA CFR 21 177.2600) rubber sheeting
- High strength and low compression set formulated rubber sheet
